Winnipeg Mayor to address MHCA Awards Breakfast

Tickets still available to Chair’s Gala November 15

Mayor Brian Bowman is expected to discuss Winnipeg’s infrastructure needs in his address to the MHCA Awards Breakfast on Friday, November 15. The association annual general meeting will follow directly after the breakfast, which will also hear briefly from Infrastructure Minister Ron Schuler, who will present the Manitoba Infrastructure awards to this year’s winners.

The MHCA Annual Report will be emailed to all members early next week. The email will contain an abridged version of the report, which includes messages from Chair Jack Meseyton and President Chris Lorenc. The emailed report contains link to full Annual Report messages that will be posted at www.mhca.mb.ca next week, as well.

For convenience, printed copies of the MHCA Treasurer’s and financial reports will be available at the breakfast and AGM.

200 members and guests gathered to hear greetings from Premier Heather Stefanson and the newly elected Mayor of Winnipeg, Scott Gillingham. Hon. Doyle Piwniuk, Minister, Manitoba Infrastructure, handed out the MTI Awards.

31 companies were recognized for their milestone membership commitments.

Matthew Neziol, of Bayview Construction, received the Safety Leader Award.
