Manitoba Heavy Construction Safety Program (MHCSP) - Meet The Staff

Glen Black, CIM, CRSP

Glen is MHCA's Safety Program (MHCSP) Director, responsible for overall program development and delivery to the heavy construction industry throughout Manitoba. He oversees the development of all training and accreditation material, provides technical assistance to industry, and acts as a liaison with government departments and agencies.

Greg Huff, LIAT

Greg  is an MHCSP  Safety Advisor, responsible for the delivery of safety and environment related services to the heavy construction industry throughout Manitoba. Greg has worked for over 25 years with industry and government in the capacity of a safety professional. He is currently involved in starting up the MHCA Training Academy, which specializes in heavy equipment operator training.

Phil McDaniel, OH&S Cert., CSO, P.GSC

Phil is an MHCSP Safety Advisor. He is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the MHCA's Safety Program. Phil is a graduate from the Red River College Occupational Health & Safety Course, and his experience in the field is a huge asset to the MHCSP program.

Elaine Alvis, CSO

Elaine is a Manitoba Heavy Construction Safety Advisor, responsible for the delivery of safety and environment related services to the heavy construction industry throughout Manitoba. Elaine joined MHCA in 2008.

Heather MacLean

Heather's role is to oversee our safety training program, such as registrations, processing, and certificates, as well as assisting the safety team on a general basis.

Denine Rodrigues

Denine Rodrigues is a MHCSP Safety Advisor, joining the MHCA in 2009. A Red River College Occupational Safety and Health Course graduate, she is responsible for the delivery of safety and environment related services to the heavy construction industry throughout Manitoba.
