Weekly Bulletin / Tender Information

Distributed on a regular weekly basis by e-mail, fax or mail, the Weekly Bulletin updates current association activities, comments on relevant industry issues and provides advertised tenders.

Active Committees

Personally address various industry topics with your peers and government administrators.

Manitoba Heavy Construction Safety Program (MHCSP)

MHCSP provides safety, health and environment practices at job sites. The Certificate of Recognition (COR) is reciprocally accepted across Canada. The program training has helped industry significantly reduce the number and severity of workplace related accidents resulting in stabilized WCB premiums. 

Annual Magazine

The MHCA Annual Magazine 'Perspectives' promotes the industry's infrastructure message and safety, health, and education information across Canada, as well as providing excellent advertising opportunities to the industry. 

Resourceful Staff 

Employees at the Association office working on behalf of your indsutry's best interests without having to put them on your payroll.

  1. Review the CATEGORIES portion of this page to determine what category your company falls under.

  2. Refer to the SCHEDULE OF FEES portion of this page to determine membership dues (the volume is based upon your companies volume of work within the industry in Manitoba).

  3. Submit the registration form and someone from the MHCA office will be in contact with you.

CATEGORIES

  • Contractor

Those persons, firms, partnerships or corporations engaged in road, street, highway construction, sewer and water construction, crushing and other related heavy construction activities.

Contractor Affiliate is available for those companies whose parent company has accounted for the affiliate company in compiling total annual volume when calculating membership dues.

  • Supplier

    Those individuals, firms or corporations who supply goods, materials and services to the heavy construction industry.

  • Supplier Affiliate

    Available for supplier company affiliate at an additional flat fee per affiliate provided that the largest volume member in the company cluster pays its membership at the appropriate supplier rate.

  • Utility Corporation

    Those corporations engaged in the primary supply of utility services, including but not limited to telephone, natural gas and electrical supply.

  • Financial Institution

    Those involved in providing financial services to the industry including Chartered Banks, Credit Unions, Trust Companies and other such similar institutions.

  • Consultant/Professional

    Those individuals, firms, partnerships or corporations, who provide professional services to the heavy construction industry. These include legal, accounting, consulting and engineering services.

NOTE: If a new company wishes to pay a full year membership fee after January 31 (rather than the prorated amount), the extra monies will be used as a credit towards their 2011 membership fees due November 1, 2010.
