===================================================

Founded in 1943, The Manitoba Heavy Construction Association (MHCA) is the recognized voice of the heavy construction industry in Manitoba.

Guided by our vision and mandate, we promote sustainable municipal infrastructure development, sustained investment in core infrastructure, and seamless, multi-modal transportation systems. We do this to ensure ongoing economic growth benefiting our province, region and country.

Our 360+ members include contractors engaged in roadbuilding, sewer and water, excavation, bridge building, as well as sub trades and suppliers such as aggregates, petroleum, engineering, heavy equipment, financial and bonding agencies. Strong membership benefits are targeted to help protect, expand and enhance their respective businesses.

The MHCA runs two core programs: WORKSAFELY, a robust, industry-wide set of safety, health and environment training programs to promote a safe workplace for industry employees; and WORKFORCE, the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association training academy, which provides government approved career and vocational training, focused on heavy equipment operators.
